Tides of Time is committed to making the visitor experience as welcoming and accessible as possible. The Visitor Centre is wheelchair accessible, with accessible facilities available on site. Parking
Public parking is available nearby, with the Main Street Public Car Park approximately 130 metres from Tides of Time. The Visitor Centre is centrally located in Carrick-on-Suir and is within easy walking distance of the town centre. Additional parking is available at New Street, Strand Lane and other central locations, making it easy to explore the exhibition and surrounding town on foot. Accessible parking spaces are also available nearby.

We welcome groups to Tides of Time and offer special group admission rates. Whether you are organising a tour, community outing, club visit or a day trip to Carrick-on-Suir, we can help you plan your visit. Advance booking is recommended for groups.

Schools
Tides of Time offers schools an engaging way to discover the history and stories of Carrick-on-Suir. Through artefacts, photography, immersive displays and interactive experiences, students can explore the people, events and River Suir that have shaped the town across generations. School visits should be arranged in advance so that we can help teachers plan the visit and accommodate the group.

Booking is not required for individual visitors, and you are welcome to purchase your ticket when you arrive. Advance booking is recommended for groups and schools.
How long does the exhibition take?
We recommend allowing approximately 60–90 minutes to enjoy the Tides of Time experience. You are welcome to take longer and explore at your own pace.
Is the exhibition suitable for children?
Yes. Tides of Time is a family-friendly experience, with stories, images, artefacts and interactive elements for visitors of different ages. Children under 6 are admitted free.
