Tides of Time – Stories of a River Town
A new immersive visitor experience to open May 2026
Tides of Time – Stories of a River Town is a Visitor Centre in the historic setting of St Nicholas Church and graveyard in Carrick-on-Suir. Developed by COSDA CLG in partnership with Explore Carrick-on-Suir and supported by Fáilte Ireland and the EU Just Transition Fund, this landmark project will bring together heritage, storytelling, and community to create a vibrant cultural and tourism destination. The centre will include an interactive exhibition, café, curated book and gift shop, the Michael Coady Study, and a programme of cultural events.
