2 Adults + up to 4 Children Family Admission to the complete Tides of Time Stories of a River Town Visitor Experience. The Tides of Time Visitor Centre is located in the Heritage Centre, off Main Street, Carrick-on-Suir, Co. Tipperary, Ireland E32 CX60.
We are open from 9am – 5pm Monday to Saturday and 10am – 3pm Sunday. Last entry 30 minutes before closing.
When Michael Coady wrote Heritage and Hope in 1982, he imagined St. Nicholas’ Church transformed into a living cultural space — a place of memory, creativity, research, storytelling and community connection. He believed the site could become “the informed setting for a dynamic present and a confident future.”
Today, that vision lives on through the Tides of Time Experience.
The restored church now welcomes visitors into an immersive journey through the people, stories and spirit of Carrick-on-Suir. What began as a hopeful appeal for restoration has evolved into a vibrant heritage destination that honours the town’s past while creating new opportunities for culture, tourism, education and community life.
